The HBA of Greater Austin's Issues Fund is a non-political fund that focuses on unique and specific issues that require financial support. The Issues Fund has been used to support or oppose a wide variety of issues, including studies, coalition building, and hiring consultants. The Issues Fund does not directly support any political expenditures or campaign contributions. The Issues Fund is a critical tool in HBA’s toolbelt to support policies that are pro-housing and defend against policies that seek to limit a builder’s ability to put homes on the ground.
