Committees & Councils

Councils & Committees

One of the easiest ways to build your professional network is to volunteer on a committee.

Use your professional experience and knowledge to impact the work of the HBA and strengthen the home building industry. If you are interested in joining a committee or learning more, please contact the HBA Staff Liaison listed below to get started.

Government Relations Committee
The Government Relations Committee (GRC) advises and assists on advocacy efforts of the HBA. This committee reviews all HBA initiatives concerning city ordinances, building codes, and the county development process. GRC members and attendees provide subject matter expertise and give insight on the day-to-day building barriers. Voting members of this committee are appointed by the Board of Directors; however, the meeting is open to all members. Attend to see how the association is working for you and your company.
