HomePAC

"Funding from HomePAC gave our government relations team the ability to fight for our industry during the pandemic. Their effort was a game changer - ensuring our industry was allowed to continue operations, while many shuttered."
— Scott Turner, Riverside Homes & 2022 HBA Board President

HomePAC is HBA’s autonomous Political Action Committee (PAC) administered by a Board of Trustees. HomePAC’s purpose is to contribute to issue and candidate campaigns supportive of the housing industry. With increasing rules and regulations being imposed by all levels of government, the HBA needs the political clout to make a difference in the election process.
HomePAC Goals:
  • Identify housing-minded elected officials and candidates for office.
  • Participate in Central Texas ballot measures and issues campaigns that are consistent with HBA’s mission and values.
  • Review the political landscape and thoughtfully allocate resources to key races.

In addition to focusing on political campaigns, HomePAC also researches voting records, conducts polling, and analyzes local and state initiatives. Together with HBA’s Government Relations staff, it serves as a well-recognized, respected political force in the region.
