HBA of Greater Austin Benefit Home 2022
Groundbreaking Event - June 8th at 9am
The 2022 Benefit Home will be built by David Weekley Homes in The Colony, a master planned community, located in Bastrop, Texas. The home's location is graciously donated by Hunt Communities.
This year's Benefit Home is The Cloverstone Floor Plan situated on a 45-foot homesite in the new Bandera Pass section of The Colony.
David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately owned builders, was founded in 1976. Headquartered in Houston, TX, the company currently operates in 19 cities and 12 states across the nation and has closed than 100,000 homes since inception.
The home builder was the first in the United States to be awarded the Triple Crown of American Home Building, an honor which includes “America’s Best Builder,” “National Housing Quality Award” and “National Builder of the Year.” David Weekley Homes has also appeared 15 times on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For®” list.
Over the years, the company has received more than 1,390 awards for design and service, a reflection of its ongoing commitment to living out the company's purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives by offering an unparalleled building experience.
Another way that David Weekley Homes lives out its purpose is through the volunteer and philanthropic efforts of the company’s CARE program. This is accomplished by Team Members joining together with Homeowners and community partners to partner with various nonprofit organizations, and through company earnings and The David Weekley Family Foundation donating more than $250 million to a variety of organizations through the U.S. and abroad over the past 20 years.
