The Communications Committee meets every other month on the 2nd Wednesday of all odd months. The Communications Committee focuses on both external and internal communications initiatives to promote the HBA of Greater Austin and its members.
Made up of new home sales and marketing professionals, the SMC is a place to develop your professional skills, stay current on the latest market trends, network with top producers and industry professionals, and become and industry leader yourself. The SMC meets monthly at the HBA office to plan programs and events. You must be a member of SMC to participate, guests are welcome to attend meetings to “test drive” before joining.
Volume Builders Council is comprised of builder members who construct 100+ units in the Austin-MSA. In addition to quarterly meetings with area Building Officials, this group also mobilizes for various issues in the area to push for positive regulatory changes that benefit our entire industry.
Committee members work to retain HBA members as well as develop new programs to recruit new members. The Membership Committee meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. All members are welcome to be a part of the Membership Committee.
