Construction Industry Asked to Donate Masks and Eye Protection

The shortage of masks and eye protection among healthcare workers is at a crisis level. Both the President and Vice-President have called upon the construction industry to provide these items to the healthcare industry immediately.

In collaboration with Leading Builders of America, we are asking for donations of masks and eye protection equipment. Thank you to KB Home, Pulte Homes, D.R. Horton, and BMC – Building Materials & Construction Solutions for their leadership in organizing our local efforts.

Dust masks are acceptable, although N95 masks are preferred because of their ability to significantly block particles, like coronaviruses. It is imperative that our healthcare providers have these masks as they are on the front line of the battle to test, treat, and contain COVID-19, and we need to protect them.
