Travis County Survey
Last Tuesday, at the HBA Goes Local event in Bee Cave, the Travis County Department of Transportation & Natural Resources gave a presentation about the county’s new “Transportation Blueprint.” The blueprint is the county’s first draft of a comprehensive review of future transportation projects for Travis County. Historically, the county has relied on the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) for its long-range transportation planning.
The plan is open for public comment through June 14th. The county has established a survey to allow stakeholders and the public to share their comments on the plan. These comments will be used to help prioritize funding, so please take a few minutes to complete the survey. In the blueprint, there are projects being proposed regarding roadway designs, sidewalks, bike lanes, etc., so it is critical that the county hear from developers who are keenly aware of where and what kind of future growth will be occurring in Travis County.
