Taylor Morrison to Build the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin’s 2019 Benefit Home to Support HomeAid Austin

Taylor Morrison, a leading national builder and developer, is partnering with the Home Building Association (HBA) of Greater Austin to build its 2019 Benefit Home in support of HomeAid Austin.

Proceeds from the sale of the home help support your HBA, as well as, the charitable work of HomeAid Austin, a 501(c)3 focused on building new lives for Austin’s individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Taylor Morrison will build its two-story Terracotta floor plan as the 2019 Benefit Home. The spacious four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home offers more than 2,400 square feet of space and features an impressive 2-story foyer, an open-concept living area with both casual and formal dining, a first-floor owner’s suite, and three additional bedrooms on the second floor, as well as a large game room.

“Taylor Morrison is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we build,” said April Whitaker, president of Taylor Morrison’s Austin division. “The 2019 Benefit Home that Taylor Morrison builds will provide needed funds for housing and programs for those experiencing homelessness, and we’re proud to be working for such a worthy cause with the HBA of Greater Austin and HomeAid Austin.”

The Home Builder Association of Greater Austin Benefit Home is the annual construction of a home built mostly – if not entirely – through donations of construction management, materials, supplies, labor and monies of the members of the HBA of Greater Austin. The majority of net proceeds from the sale of the home on the open market benefit local charities as designated by HBA.

“It’s only through HBA Members like Taylor Morrison that the Benefit Home program thrives,” stated Carrie L. Ciliberto, CEO of the HBA. “The Benefit Home is a great example of how the more than 800 HBA members contribute to the communities in which they build, and make a direct impact on worthy causes within those communities. We are so thankful to Taylor Morrison for their leadership, expertise and generosity.”
