Home Builders Association of Greater Austin Announces New CEO Carrie Ciliberto
The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin (HBA) is pleased to announce that after an intensive, nationwide search, Carrie L. Ciliberto, Esq. has been hired as the next Chief Executive Officer for the HBA.
“As you might imagine, the desirability of Austin, paired with our robust HBA organization attracted talented candidates from near and far,” states Becky Collins, HBA President. “Our search committee, with the help of an executive recruiter, worked diligently to find the best candidate for the position and Carrie fit the bill on all fronts. We are excited to have her on board and are looking forward to continued growth and success under her leadership.”
Most recently, Carrie was the Chief Executive Officer for the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts, Inc. (ASM), a premier, regional trade association for specialty contractors representing both union and open shop professionals. Prior to running ASM, she was the Senior Director and Counsel of Contracts and Construction Law for The Associated General Contractors of America, Inc., a national association with more than 32,000 members representing all facets of commercial and industrial construction for both public and private entities. She concurrently held the title of Deputy Executive Director and Counsel for ConsensusDocs LLC, a coalition of 40+ leading, national and international AEC organizations.
“I am honored to assume the role of CEO at HBA,” states Ciliberto. “I look forward to working with our Board, Staff and Members to build on HBA’s strong foundation not only to retain its leadership role in the industry, but also to achieve even greater accomplishments in the future.”
Preceding her career in the non-profit world, Carrie was the founder and principal of Ciliberto & Associates LLC, a Colorado law firm whose practice concentrated for more than 10 years in natural resources, environmental and land use law. Prior to her legal career, she was in advertising and marketing for a number of years.
