Georgetown signs deal to consider roadway impact fees
As central Texas cities continue to look for new revenue streams to fund infrastructure, the City of Georgetown has just signed a deal with a consultant to consider adopting roadway impact fees. As of today, the consultant is tasked with creating the transportation study that will identify future road projects through the next 10 years.
After the study is complete, it will go to council for review and approval. This is the first of several steps required by law that a city must undergo before adopting impact fees.
