City of Round Rock to Reinitiate Discussions on Roadway Impact Fees
At the end of 2018, the Round Rock city council voted down the initial proposed roadway impact fee ordinance and instructed staff to change certain key portions of the ordinance, including further delaying the implementation date and making adjustments to the fee.
In early January, the city’s impact fee advisory committee reviewed the proposed capital improvement plan, which will go to council this Thursday. The HBA will continue to engage with the council to push for additional grandfathering exemptions and reduced fees for developers.
